Currently, I’m a Pre-Doctoral Research Associate at the Indian School of Business, where I work on capital markets research. I analyze stock-market data, build econometric models, and generate insights that inform decision-making. My work spans: 1. literature surveys, 2. data encapsulation, and 3. econometric and time series analysis on large-scale financial datasets. Previously, I worked at NatWest (Royal Bank of Scotland) as a Software Engineer in a Data Engineering team, where I built and optimized production data pipelines used across banking operations. Before that, at IIIT Delhi’s Complex Systems Lab, I explored computational creativity—training RNNs, LSTMs, and Transformer-based models to generate song lyrics and evaluating them with scoring metrics like BLEU and GLEU. My earlier research at ISB’s Centre of Analytical Finance involved applying NLP and quantitative techniques to rank firms, analyze lending patterns, and compute key financial ratios for real-world banking use cases. Across every role, one principle has remained constant: I turn raw data into clarity, and clarity into decisions. Whether it’s pipelines or papers, I build systems that uncover insight and drive action.
