In my current role as a Senior Data Scientist at Wildlife Studios I primarily focus on building and maintaining user lifetime value (LTV) models that are critical for driving effective paid user acquisition (aka UA) via online marketing channels. UA is one of the core pillars of growth at Wildlife Studios that enables distributing our games to millions of users in a highly profitable manner. Apart from developing and deploying highly performant machine learning models that forecast long term user revenue based on early monetisation and engagement signals I also work closely with business stakeholders in the user acquisition team to provide operational support for our models, identify growth opportunities and build roadmaps for high potential initiatives. I was one of the first data science hires in the Ireland team and was fortunate to play a part in the team delivering some big wins and scaling up by 4X. In this exciting journey I have also had the opportunity to lead and mentor data scientists, machine learning engineers and analysts. In my prior role as a Senior Data Scientist at Aetna I leveraged supervised machine learning methodologies to identify and fix defects in the claims payment process. I also spearheaded the efforts to identify fraudulent healthcare providers using unsupervised ML algorithms and anomaly detection models to identify and flag potential cases of fraud, waste and abuse. My professional experience spans various technology solutions including software development, analytics consulting and data science. My interest in science began in my early childhood when I was fascinated by looking at the vast expanse of space and constellations in the sky. When I was 16, I secured a rank among the top 1% of the nation in the Indian National Physics Olympiad. In my spare time I enjoy playing soccer, reading, meditating and traveling.
