I love to deep dive into business problems and solve them from a first principles basis. To do this, I dirty my hands, build smart teams, empower them, thereby ensuring quick implementation, accurate impact measurement and fast redefinition. I have worked in organisations across various levels of scale, from being the first employee, to being a founder, to being in a leadership position in a rapidly growing firm. These stints have been across consulting, sales operations, customer experience and operations. Some factors which have helped me perform well at my work: - I put customer first. - I am execution focussed. - I delegate well. - I am reasonable. As a leader, I have tried to do the following: - Hire individuals who are better than self. - Empower the team. - Credit team for the success, yet the buck stops with me. - Develop a culture of ownership. Few things which have given me a feeling of happiness/ success: - From being an individual contributor in 2018, took up a leadership role, eventually managing a 60+ HO team, 180+ warehouse team and ~8000 executives. - Managed to ensure minimal disruption during covid lockdown and was successfully able to gather and deploy resources despite being in a heavily constrained environment. - Being looked up as a people leader and seeing colleagues rapidly scale up their skills and zone of responsibilities.
