According to me, data is not mere numbers on big databases or spreadsheets, but they are actually the encoded hidden patterns of our decisions, thoughts and interactions. And, because of it there is so much buzz happening around data starting from big data management, unemployment due to machine learning based automations, responsible AI and data privacy among others. I, always say to people that machine learning and artificial intelligence based solutions are not replacing humans but rather they are augmenting us. Data privacy is definitely a concerning thing and GDPR is a way to reduce it. Time will tell more!
