I am Abhas Kumar, a highly motivated computer science and engineering professional. I hold an MTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kanpur, along with a BTech CSE degree from IIIT Kalyani. Throughout my academic journey, I actively pursued research projects, including my MTech thesis focused on developing an Information Retrieval (IR) system for analyzing and managing public grievances in the CPGRAMS project. I have also worked on research projects involving machine translation, variational autoencoders, and multilingual question-answering. In terms of industry experience, I have worked as a Senior Data Scientist at SYNECHRON's Innovation Labs, where I developed custom Large Language Models (LLM) and contributed to the chatbot and semantic search projects. Additionally, I gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer at Intel India, specializing in analyzing the performance of ML classification algorithms and developing real-time ML classifiers for power optimization. With my strong educational background, diverse research experience, and industry expertise, I am well-equipped to make significant contributions to the field of computer science and engineering. I possess proficiency in languages like C, C++, and Python, and have hands-on experience with various libraries and tools.
