He is currently employed as a Product PR & Corporate Communications Specialist with a fortune 500 and one world’s leading smartphone company, Xiaomi. In this association with Xiaomi India, he has played a pivotal role in developing the Product PR and Communications strategy for POCO India (Xiaomi’s sub-brand) and extending Public Relations and messaging support to POCO India’s leadership and partners with strong specialization in media & influencer relations for FMEG products. Prior to this, he was affiliated with giants of clients and media & PR firms Avian WE, Truecaller, BLR Airport, Vistara, Times Group, India Today Group & The Quint. Through 2.5 years of being a professional, Abhinav has formulated a healthy understanding of the media & digital landscape. He has continuously honed his abilities while handling the communications & media relations, developing & implementing media campaigns, conducting market research & analysis, completing media buys, attending to crises and other PR & communications related duties for his organizations and clients. He has a good deal of autonomy, and can implement creative and innovative media campaigns, along with deftly handling media relations and online reputation (ORM). In academia he has secured a 'First Class' in his Triple Majors Graduation (Communications & Media Studies, English and Psychology) from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore.
