Hello! 👋🏽 I’m Abdullah Stanikzai and I’m a first-gen immigrant, a Software/DevOps Engineer with a passion for technology innovation, digital content creation, and inclusive mentorship. Currently, I’m pursuing an MSc in Advanced Computer Science with International Business at the University of Dundee, where I am focused on expanding my skills in software engineering, DevOps, and project management. I’m committed to delivering efficient, scalable solutions that bridge technical expertise with creative problem-solving. My journey in technology began with a Bachelor’s in Information Technology from the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, with a focus on networking, and has evolved through hands-on experience. In addition to my technical roles, I am deeply committed to teaching. As an Instructor at LEARN, I guide students in foundational IT skills, helping to empower underrepresented communities. With six years of experience as a freelance animator and video editor, I bring creativity to the tech world, crafting engaging digital content that communicates complex ideas. I also offer mentorship on scholarships and international education, supporting students in securing full scholarships around the globe, and providing guidance whenever they need it. Selected as a University of Dundee Humanitarian Scholar for 2024-2025, I’m excited to grow in both software engineering and DevOps, while continuing to drive impact through my work. My goal is to contribute to organizations that value innovation, diversity, and impact—creating solutions that are not only efficient but meaningful. I’m very people-centered and thrive in fast-paced environments. I love thinking on my feet, embracing challenges, and learning something new every day!
