Welcome to my profile. I’m Abdullah Arif, a Data Science senior at FAST-NUCES with hands-on experience in machine learning, computer vision, NLP, and multimodal AI. Restless as ever, even after working across diverse areas, including deep video-audio synchronization (SyncVSR 2024), and building a real-time event extraction system combining ASR and NLP for intelligent scheduling. My current focus lies on a research-driven application involving cross-modal translation and sequential generation that integrates temporal alignment and low-resource adaptation strategies. Alongside technical work, I’ve collaborated on cross-functional teams, taught junior students, and contributed to university-led initiatives. These experiences have helped me balance independent problem-solving with clear communication and teamwork. I’m passionate about pushing the boundaries of applied AI and hope to work at the intersection of research and real-world impact, particularly in areas that bridge human communication and machine understanding.
