As a Financial Analyst at PrimeSource Building Products, I apply my data analytics and machine learning skills to help the company optimize its financial performance and operations. I am also a Master of Science in Business Analytics student at the University of Texas at Dallas, where I have learned to create and deploy machine learning models to solve organizational problems and make informed decisions. I have worked with large datasets, using Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Alteryx, and applied various machine learning algorithms, such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, random forest, XGBoost, KNN, K-means, neural networks, and support vector machine. I have also gained experience as a graduate student teaching assistant, where I designed and tutored projects on cloud architectures and statistical analysis for over 100 students. My interest lies in optimizing machine learning models and algorithms using supervised and unsupervised methods. I also leverage my finance and accounting background to provide valuable insights and recommendations for business strategy, revenue growth, and financial valuation. I am motivated by the challenge of finding patterns and solutions in complex and messy data and by the opportunity to contribute to the company's and team's success and growth.
