About me
Hello! I'm Abdul Khalil, an Embedded Software Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying embedded systems in the automotive and e-mobility sectors.
My Journey:
I started my career at Mazout Electric, where I developed telematics solutions and designed an Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) for electric vehicles. This foundation sparked my passion for embedded systems in the EV space. Today, at Malitra India, I'm leading firmware development for AC/DC electric vehicle chargers and battery management systems that power next-generation mobility solutions.
Technical Expertise:
Microcontrollers: STM32, ESP32, Nuvoton platforms
Firmware Development: Real-time systems, FreeRTOS, bare-metal programming
Automotive Protocols: CAN/FDCAN, OCPP 1.6 (EV charging standard), Modbus
Battery Systems: BMS firmware for 10S-24S lithium-ion packs, cell balancing, thermal management
Communication: SPI, UART, I²C, USB, HTTP, MQTT, OTA updates
Tools & IDEs: STM32CubeIDE, ESP-IDF, Keil µVision, Altium (PCB design)
What I've Built:
Scalable BMS firmware supporting multiple battery pack configurations (10S-24S)
Smart EV charger controller with OCPP 1.6 integration and real-time monitoring
Telematics platform processing GPS/IMU data with 4G connectivity
Industrial remote monitoring systems with embedded AT commands and web interfaces
PCB-level debugging and EMI/EMC compliance solutions
Why Work With Me:
I combine strong hardware fundamentals with production-focused firmware design. I've troubleshot complex integration issues at both firmware and hardware levels, conducted schematic reviews, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to ship reliable products. Whether you're building a prototype or scaling to production, I understand the real-world constraints of embedded systems.
Who I Help:
Startups & Enterprises: Developing embedded solutions for automotive, IoT, and e-mobility
Engineers: Learning firmware architecture, bootloader design, or protocol integration
Product Teams: Optimizing embedded systems for cost, power, and reliability
Students: Building hands-on embedded systems projects with microcontrollers
I'm here to share practical insights from 3+ years in the field—no theory without application, just real embedded engineering.
