I'm Aayush Kumar, a passionate and driven computer science professional currently pursuing my Master’s in Computer Science at the University of Illinois, Chicago. With a strong foundation in Information Technology, I bring hands-on experience in machine learning, data science, and software engineering. Previously, I worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Zscaler, where I worked on innovative projects, including building an AI-powered recommendation engine and developing data-driven solutions to optimize client operations. My work on the ZDX Copilot and ZPA Intelligent Policy Recommendation tools has helped improve productivity and user experience by leveraging advanced machine learning and optimization techniques. In addition to my industry experience, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring over 500 students across India in coding and development, guiding them to build real-world projects and foster a passion for technology. I’m proficient in multiple programming languages and frameworks and am always eager to apply my skills to create impactful solutions. When I'm not coding, I’m likely experimenting with new ML models or contributing to open-source projects. My goal is to innovate at the intersection of AI, security, and software development, always driven by the pursuit of knowledge and meaningful impact.
