I come from a military background and have been shaped by a life lived around discipline, movement, and institutions that demand responsibility early on. Academically, I’m trained in political science and journalism, which allows me to approach security and geopolitics with both analytical rigour and narrative awareness. My core interests lie in South Asian security, India-Pakistan relations, counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism, and the way military and security issues are communicated- or miscommunicated- in public discourse. I’m particularly interested in how narratives are built, diluted, or weaponised in media and policy conversations. On TopMate, I offer 1:1 clarity-driven conversations for students who want to think better- whether that’s refining a research question, strengthening an argument, understanding defence issues beyond surface-level commentary, or gaining direction in the IR / security / media space.
