About me

I’m Aashna, a Software Engineer at Google, currently working full-time in New York City. My journey here has been shaped by incredible experiences, as a 2X intern at Google—with YouTube Music and Google Core Security. I have also previously interned at the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai, India. Having lived in 3 countries and speaking 6 languages, I’ve gained a global perspective and a deep appreciation for diversity. My journey started in Belgium, continued in India, and ultimately brought me to the U.S., where I pursued my passion for tech. I earned my Bachelor’s in CS and Master’s in ML degrees from Georgia Tech. I know the challenges of navigating opportunities as an international student first-hand! Beyond code, I’m an artist at heart and love expressing myself through art, diving into a good book, or strategizing over a game of poker. As a leader for women in tech, I’m super passionate about empowering others, sharing career insights, and helping YOU achieve YOUR goals.
