Currently working as VP-ML (Principal Data Scientist) with JPMC, using data and ML to solve complex problems in BFSI space - Anti Money Laundering, Credit Risk, Trader Surveillance, High Risk Geographies, Rapid movement of Funds etc. Most used techniques involve - Anomaly detection, Boosting/Bagging, NLP (BERT/RoBERTa) and Deep Learning. My experience with JPMC exposes me to large data-sets and use of PySpark, Spark, Hive, Scala and other Big Data Tools and technologies. Prior to JPMC, I have been associated with PwC US Advisory(DIAC) in Mumbai, and have worked on marquee projects in the TMT, Pricing and Insurance space. I have been a part of team advising clients on how to effectively price their products and improve their processes using data and ML. Completed Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics at IIM-Calcutta, ISI and IIT Kharagpur. I am working towards advancing the field of Data Sciences in my own way. I have a strong Analytics background of 9+ years and counting. I am proficient in Python, R, C, Unix and SQL and have worked on tools like Tableau for data visualization purposes. My projects in PGDBA have been on Semantics searches, opinion mining, recommendation systems, high frequency trading among other things. I have a strong grasp on the statistical techniques and machine learning methods and this unique combination coupled with the exposure of working for multinational clients over number of years have prepped me for applying Ml & AI to the most complex of problems.
