Pursuing my lifelong dream of transforming lives through the magic of teaching. I work as an Academic Head for GATE Computer Science and Data Science at VisionGATE. VisionGATE has had a solid history of producing top rankers in GATE CS since it's inception in 2017. As VisionGATE has been a local treasure for the people in and around Mumbai, we want people from all across the world to avail the same benefits. As a software engineer at Booking.com, I work as an SDE in the Marketing Fraud team. Every company that provides any online services inevitably lead to a payment portal and is thus susceptible to fraud and money embezzlement. As a part of this team, I work on implementing micro-services in Java that enable rule based and ML based decisions to help with Fraud detection and recovery and on providing crucial features used by Analytics and Operations teams to monitor users and detect fraud. Previously, I worked at VMware(Broadcom), where I worked on developing and enhancing the features and performance of the VMware cloud storage platform, which provides scalable and secure cloud storage solutions for enterprises. I collaborated with other engineers, product managers, and customers to deliver high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of the cloud storage market. Before that, I was a software engineer at Rubrik, where I was part of a team that focused on providing backup, recovery, and ransomware detection for O365 workloads. I have a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science from IIT Bombay, where my main project focused on recurring query optimization using materialisation. I conducted research on how to leverage materialized views to speed up complex queries. During my master's, I also served as a company co-ordinator at the placement office, where I facilitated the interactions between the students and the recruiting companies. I am proficient in English, Tamil, and Marathi languages. My core competencies include communication, engineering, and teamwork. I am passionate about learning new technologies and solving complex problems in the field of computer science. I aspire to grow as a software engineer and make a positive impact on the industry and society.
