I started my journey on a cricket pitch. I played professionally for five years until I realised I wasn’t going to make it all the way. I switched roles, reinvented myself as a bowler and earned my spot. That lesson stuck with me. When the path closes, build a new one. During college, I ran a small business to support my family. It paid our bills, bought my first phone and funded my education. It didn’t scale, but it gave me something more valuable: ownership, grit and the confidence to create from scratch. College was also where I led a 70+ member team to host a TEDx event. That experience gave me something I didn’t expect — leadership instincts, execution under pressure and the ability to bring people together around a shared vision. It was the first time I understood what it meant to lead something from start to finish. Later, I joined a growth-stage startup where I built marketing systems, ran campaigns and documented processes to keep execution on track. That’s when I realised I didn’t just enjoy content. I enjoyed building the infrastructure behind it. When I hit another low, I turned back to creating. I picked up video editing, took on small projects and slowly found momentum again. But it wasn’t just the editing. I was studying YouTube, breaking down what works and thinking deeply about what drives attention, retention and long-term growth. Today, I help brands think clearly about YouTube. Not as a platform to post content, but as a long-term distribution engine. I build systems, frameworks and content strategies that help founders and marketing teams grow with intention.
