Zuri Godfrey is now an Integrated Marketing Manager at Meta, where he delivers brand campaigns for Meta Ray-Ban Display. Prior to Meta, Zuri spent four years at Google/YouTube in creator advocacy, social media, and brand management/strategy capacities. When he interned, he pioneered the inclusion of Juneteenth as a recurring US holiday on Google Calendar which has 500M Monthly Active Users. Moreover, Zuri led brand activations for Google Ads at industry events such as CultureCon and REC Philly (Creator Day). Before Alphabet, Zuri held roles in sports marketing at ESPN, retail sales at Nike, fan engagement at the NFL, and management consulting at PwC. Zuri has earned recognition from Cannes Lions (30 Under 30 Brand Marketing Academy), ADCOLOR (FUTURE), Jordan Brand (Top 23 Howard Alumni), Product Marketing Alliance (Newcomer of the Year), Black Marketers Association (Top 20 Marketer), The ELC (Rising Star), and COLOR Magazine (40 Under 40). He also shares his subject matter expertise globally as an avid public speaker. Zuri was raised in Hampton, VA and now resides in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from Howard University where he was a Division I student-athlete. His purpose is to serve, speak, and succeed. Zuri is the Founder of The Village (Group Mentorship Program), a nonprofit that helps college students and recent graduates achieve their career and life goals through a DNA of Development, Networking, and Accountability. The Village has placed 90% of their 200+ mentors and mentees in careers at award-winning agencies and notable brands. Zuri is also a LinkedIn creator with over 40K followers and 1M annual impressions where he posts thought leadership. In 2025, he co-created Creator Crossovers, an event series under The Village that connects brands to tastemakers who promote their products/services. Their initial programming increased brand awareness for the Intuit Dome and Crypto.com Area after 35 influencers with 20M followers (collectively) shared/streamed their experience on social.
