Maitrayee completed her Master's degree in the U.S. and worked there for several years. Despite unsuccessful attempts in the H1B lottery, she continued her employment under STEM OPT status.
As her OPT period was approaching its end, she got connected with Syndesus, a service that facilitated her retention of the U.S. job while relocating to Toronto. Currently, She is a Canadian permanent resident.
