As a first-generation student, I understand the challenges of navigating through unfamiliar territory without guidance. I vividly recall the struggles I faced from not knowing how to apply to college, what majors to choose, and even how to get internships, much less network professionally. I had no one to go to for support and help and I took it upon myself to be that person for others.
As a result, I became a mentor early and throughout my college career. Mentoring is my way of creating meaningful connections and showing people their light. Mentoring is my way of being someone's go-to and support. Lastly, mentoring is my way of giving back!

Early Career Consultations (high school and college students) : We will talk about your career goals and what steps we can take to get you there. A few of the topics discussed here will include networking and how to start, personal branding (LinkedIn and your presence), job searching and where to look, making the most of your resources, etc. This is a great way for you to understand where you are in your career journey and what steps you need to take to travel further.
Mock Behavioral Interview Session: We will go through a mock behavioral interview where you will answer questions based on the STAR format. Following the interview will be time for us to review your answers and talk about improvements and strategies for moving forward.
College Advice (high school and college students) : We will talk about how to make the most of your college experience through social networking, getting through classes, joining extracurriculars, and more. This is a great way to gain insights into experiences to help you understand what you want to get out of the next couple of years.
Resume/ LinkedIn Consultations : We will discuss the format, layout, and structure of your resume and see how we can create perfection to help you land your next role! For your LinkedIn profile, we will review everything from your profile picture to the content of your profile to make sure your story gets through to recruiters.
