About me

I am Poorvi Chothani, the Founder and Managing Partner of LawQuest in Mumbai, and The Law Office of Poorvi Chothani, PLLC, Florida. As an immigration attorney licensed in India, the US and the UK in addition to practicing law I enjoy writing and have edited and published multiple books, frequently author articles and frequently speak at national and international events. At LawQuest we work hard to help clients meet their immigration goals within the parameters of the law. Our clients range from individuals who need help with B-1/B-2 visa or a family-based immigration solution to corporations and High Networth Individuals who seek EB-5 visas. Our many EB-5 clients have successfully received their green cards and are living the American Dream! Clients have referred to me as "the best of the best in India" and this is a source of great joy. To give back to society I volunteer with NGOs and work with educational institutions and young lawyers. In my leadership roles at the American Bar Association (ABA), the International Bar Association (IBA) and the America Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) I have served as an editor of association newsletters, organized conferences, webinars and networking events. A notable contribution from LawQuest is our "Global Mobility Handbook – An Overview for Human Resource Professionals." I have authored a few chapters for this book, which is in its 5th edition and serve as the editor of this guide that provides valuable insights into immigration requirements across key jurisdictions across the globe.
