Interviews get you sweaty too? Don't worry, this mine of 50 interview questions ranging from personal, behavioral, cultural, and professional will give you the bulletproof confidence in your upcoming interviews. With minimum to no practice, you will be able to predict the questions by the recruiter and answer them smartly without stepping on a pebble.
So here’s the thing, now imagine a 15-year-old not being able to wrap her mind around why HR, the only supposedly empathetic and accessible department, isn’t getting enough spotlight and recognition? And that embarked on my journey to becoming ‘yourgotoHR’ who believes in giving back.
Honestly, it wasn’t an easy journey. After graduating in HR with outstanding grades, I still couldn’t land a good job, literally went through nearly 50 and more interviews in companies like Nobroker, Unacademy, FashionTV, to Cult fit, etc., clearing a few, failing the rest.
After giving countless interviews, when I sat in my first interview as an HR and not as a candidate, I got to see through this whole process of the interview. So far, in one and a half years, I have interviewed more than 500 people and have realized the minor mistake patterns which we all unknowingly do.
Hence, I created this handbook in order to share what I have learned so far, so that you can benefit from the mistakes I made as a candidate and I rejected as an HR.
Remember how we all used to practice last year’s question paper before sitting in the exams? You can think of this handbook as the same. I am not promising you the same questions, but this is the syllabus, and only the words might be changed in this year’s paper 😂
✅ Give you a clear picture of what an HR interview round looks like

✅ Guide you to frame a smart answer to all these questions.
✅ Give you an understanding of what not to say
✅ Provide a 5 min revision paper before your interviews
✅ Increase your possibility of cracking interviews
Q. What makes you (Nandini), qualified to create this?
A: In a nutshell, at this point, I don’t have an answer to whether I have given more interviews or taken more interviews. From being rejected as a candidate to selecting as an HR, interviews and questions have become a part of my personality in the last 2 years.
Working for like 5 companies (Of course inclusive of internships) made me adapt and accept 5 different cultures, ending up with hiring for 5 different cultures catering to 5 different needs and requirements. Apart from this, my education in core HR from one of the best institutes of our country has given me the theoretical understanding of the same.
Q. Is there a refund policy?
A: Absolutely! If you find this cheatsheet pointless, please reach out to me, and after reviewing your request - I'll ensure you receive a refund within the initial 30-day period. My commitment lies in creating valuable products for my users, and I have full confidence in the worth of this one. However, your satisfaction is paramount.
