Please do not book this service without reading this: publishing rights of the original song are necessary, please ensure you have those rights. If we are using original elements from the original, or previous, recording of the song, we will also need master rights to proceed with the remix.

This service is aimed at 2 types of customers:

1. Catalogue owners such as record labels and publishers with a stagnant or inactive catalogue of older songs.
2. Companies and funds investing into music catalogues.

I will:

1. Outline clear understanding that the fee paid is a work-for-hire payment and no further rights or royalties will need to be credited to the remixer.
2. Advise regarding rights and royalties to an extent, but it is recommended that an entertainment lawyer is involved in the remix process if the rights controller is unsure of what rights they possess when it comes to sanctioning and releasing remixes.
3. Consult and understand your requirements for reaching a new market and discuss applicable new market segments to reach.
4. Set expectations for short term and long tail returns from the remix and its effect on the performance of the original song(s).
5. Remix the song to a new UK underground electronic genre version.
6. Deliver the finished song stems and mixed & mastered lossless audio file.
7. Consult your marketing team with best practices for the audience of the new music genre, or recommend a team of consultants and freelancers you should work with to see the best results with the remix.
