Hi, I had cracked multiple off-campus job offers in MNCs like Amazon, DEShaw, Goldman Sachs and startups like Grab, Traveloka, Goibibo during college. These companies didn't visit my college except Amazon which came for QA role. But I cracked them all after doing well in nationwide online competitive programming competitions. I rarely sat in college placements either because of my average 8 CGPA (didn't make the cut in most of the companies) or lack of interest in job profile or compensation offered. My only goal was to crack off-campus placement in a company like Directi or Code Nation who used to hire via competitive programming competitions (may be they still do) or get referral in FAANG level company for SDE role (not SDET/QA/SRE).
I can help you to crack high paying job offers if you are a college student or even a working professional. I have the experience of mentoring both at GeeksForGeeks.
I was the first 5 star rated coder on CodeChef in my college. Unlike IITs/NITs/BITs/VITs my college lacked competitive programming culture. My batchmates or seniors were mostly into development (app, website, ML etc.)
In 1st year I tried my hand at hacking, app development. In 2nd year I focused on backend development and took part in lot of Hackathons and also won a few. In 3rd year I shifted my focus towards competitive programming. Due to lack of right mentorship (unaware seniors/faculty) and unambitious peer group, I realised the right direction to focus my hard work on very late in my college life. Hence, I want to share my experience and knowledge with as many people as I can. Right mentorship can accelerate your growth and also prevent you from moving in the wrong direction! Working hard in the wrong direction is worse than not working at all!
These days I'm trying to build something of my own. Follow me on Linkedin for more updates on this.
