Hi there! I’m the Founder & CEO @ BIORx Venture Advisors and Chief Ideator @ Indian Healthcare Angels. With an overall 24+ years of experience in various industries, I rank amongst the Top 20 dedicated Healthcare Investment Bankers in the nation. → Professional Initiatives: • BIORx has helped 120+ public & private companies, and 10+ foreign MNCs into their India foray since its inception in 2012. The focus has been on venture creation and scale-up, having successfully raised and syndicated 1000+ crores as growth capital. Our portfolio spans a diverse range of sectors, including but not limited to Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Contract Research, Medical Devices, Digital Healthcare, and Hospitals. • Indian Healthcare Angels (IHA) is a strategic Angel Network of CXOs from Healthcare Industry providing a seamless private platform to drive investments in early-stage impact ventures in Healthtech, Agritech, Climatetech and Edtech. • I’ve also angel-invested in 20+ early-stage ventures, playing an active role in their growth mentoring and strategy. • Prior to BIORx and IHA, I’ve held top and mid management positions in YES Bank, Ranbaxy Research Laboratories (now Sun Pharma), Oncquest (as an Intrapreneur, started venture with Dabur’s support which is now a Rs. 500+ crores revenue venture), Dabur Research Foundation (now Fresenius Kabi) and INMAS (DRDO). → Academic Background: • I hold a Ph.D. in Strategy, Finance, & Innovation Management, an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur, an EMBA in Digital Healthcare Investing from Columbia Business School, and an M.Sc. in Biotech. I’ve also done the WIPO Program in Patenting of Biotechnological Innovations. → Other Appointments: • Startup mentor at CIIE of IIM Ahmedabad and IIT Delhi for 10+ years, during which I’ve been significantly involved with 40+ life sciences-focused incubators pan India • Lifetime member of the All-India Management Association (AIMA) and CAHO. • Active participant in various task forces for industry chambers such as FICCI, CII, ASSOCHAM, ABLE, and PHDCCI.
