Engineering leadership today isn’t just about managing people it’s also about building the systems, platforms, and tools that help engineers do their best work. I work at the intersection of engineering discipline, platform thinking, and practical Generative AI. My background spans test engineering, platform enablement, and distributed systems, which shapes how I approach AI: not as a replacement for good engineering, but as a way to remove friction, surface insights earlier, and improve delivery confidence. Currently, I’m an Engineering Manager at ANZ, leading teams building cloud-native softwares that support digital banking services used by millions of customers. My focus is on evolving these systems improving reliability, observability, and developer experience while introducing LLM-based automation in places where it genuinely adds leverage across the SDLC. What I spend most of my time on: • Technical & Platform Leadership: Deep experience with Golang, TypeScript, Python, cloud-native architectures, and observability, building shared platforms that scale across teams. • Generative AI in Engineering: Designing and integrating LLM-based solutions across testing, validation, and developer workflows, with an emphasis on moving from experimentation to production-ready systems. • Team & Culture: Creating environments that encourage a shift-left mindset, strong engineering ownership, and psychological safety because sustainable systems are built by healthy teams.
