About me
20+ years of experience in the Industry and by working with diverse customers across various verticals and geographies, he has accomplished a strong level of expertise in sales management. He has not only built business operations from scratch in new geographies but has also strategized unique sales and marketing models which helped the organizations to establish a robust brand identity among target groups.
Devesh, currently is responsible to build, grow and scale GSI alliances and channels globally for Canonical. Since last 10 years have handled roles in various capacities at Leadership level and have been credited to set up the GSI Business Unit for SUSE as it separated out as a largest independent Open Source company from Micro focus in 2017. He leads a strong and experience team of Alliance Managers, Solutions Architects, Instructors and support functions to drive success by managing the eco-system of GSI partners, which are Headquartered in India. He was with Microfocus, before SUSE, where he grew from managing couple of GSIs to lead the GSI Sales and Pre-sales team. Before moving to Global Alliances, he was part of India Leadership team of Novell/Attachmate. He was Sales Director, and was heading business operations of West of India, based out of Mumbai. He is credited to grow business by more than 100% in the last 2 years by building and leading a high performing sales and pre-sales team. Prior to this, he was National Manager-Govt Business, based out of New Delhi and is credited to close multi million dollar projects with Govt. of India. He has wide exposure in positioning IT solutions in various e-Governance Initiatives of Govt. of India, which has ensured benefits to citizens by automation of services.
Apart from Novell, he has previously worked with HCL Inofsystems Ltd. and Sify Technologies Limted, which have been his learning ground to grow as a matured professional and helped him to understand various aspects Sales and Business Management.
Devesh loves to maintain work-life balance and enjoys spending time with his family and going on long drives and exploring new places. He is associated with an NGO which works to educating children from underprivileged society.
