About me

Most people build their resumes one role at a time. I built mine by reengineering industries. Hi! I’m Nihar Dave, a Sales Strategist, Sourcing Lead and Distribution Specialist with over 18 years of experience scaling products, teams, and partnerships across telecom, media, OTT, and real estate. But, let’s rewind for a minute – Fresh out of B-school, I didn’t just land in sales, I went deep into its veins. As a Sales Trainee, I wasn’t trying to climb the ladder fast. I was trying to understand how the ladder was built in the first place. That curiosity paid off. Within record time, I became a Distribution Area Manager at Vodafone, right in the middle of India’s telecom revolution. We weren’t just selling connections. We were selling mobile dreams in scratch card packs, at a time when GPRS was still a luxury. But I didn’t stop there. I joined the pre-launch Jio Centre team, where we weren’t handed processes, we built them. No rulebook. No roadmap. Just a vision to connect a billion people. We made “unlimited data” a norm, before the term even entered the market. And then came a wild curveball: Print. During COVID. At Dainik Bhaskar, I led a circulation project that’s now a case study at IIM. 300+ feet-on-street hires in 60 days. Lost trust? Rebuilt. Declining reach? Reversed. That impact led to my role as State Head of Ad Sales across Gujarat, leading from the front with feet on the street. When OTT rose, I pivoted again. At Tata Play, I launched the Binge platform across 5 states, and later moved to Mumbai to strike major modern trade alliances with Croma, Vijay Sales, Kohinoor, and more. And today, I’m at Lodha, India’s leading real estate brand, driving sourcing, GTM strategy, and channel partnerships as part of the central growth team. The scale’s different, but the principle remains: Design the backend no one sees, So the front-end never breaks. I’ve made a career of fixing that. Because no matter the industry: telecom, print, OTT, or real estate, there’s one through-line that’s never changed – Distribution wins markets. And execution wins customer’s trust.
