If we meet and have a conversation, you'd notice that I have a receding hairline, a growing waistline... and a strong punchline!
This is not by being born funny. Far from it.
But I had the curiosity to learn how to be funny.
And that curiosity has now turned into a skill ... one you can learn too, in this workshop.
Here's a myth about humor we treat it like it's a personality trait. Some people "have it," some don't, end of story. I used to think that too.
Turns out, it's closer to a language. Nobody's born speaking it. You just pick it up, through streamlined learning, until it starts sounding natural.
That's exactly what we're doing in this session.
I will hand you the same tools comedians use and we'll work with them right there in the workshop, live, on some sample stories and situations.
You'll fgure out your own "Humor Personality" along the way .... because chasing someone else's version of funny is exactly how people convince themselves they're not funny.
You just haven't found your version yet.
And together we will Find (your) Funny.
No prior comedy experience needed. Just some curiosity. I'll bring the rest.

I always thought that humor is something you're born with, but today , i realised that it's something that you can learn and  if humor is something that you want to learn too, then this is the perfect place to start.

It was really interesting to learn that humor has structures you can actually practice and use to become more humorous. Using these techniques in a corporate or office environment can really help create a lighter, more positive atmosphere.

The workshop was a wonderful insight into Ankurâs mind , and his comedy. The best concept I learned was levity and itâs something I feel around Ankur's presence all the time. So it was wonderful to have it deconstructed.

After doing the workshop with Ankur , i understood that it is a learnable skill. It is possible that you are not a born comic, but you can learn and become funny.

No prior experience is required; the workshop is structured to support both beginners looking to find their footing and experienced writers wanting to sharpen their skills.
The program combines workshop and hands-on writing assignments to provide a comprehensive learning experience.
It depends on the kind of feedback you want. For example, a quick feedback on a joke can be shared, but a detailed feedback on some sets might be difficult in the interest of time.Â
By the end of the workshop, you will have a stronger understanding of comedic frameworks that you can use in your every day life to elevate your humor.Â
