About me

A gold medalist and an early entrant to the IT industry, Animesh has four decades of experience in software development, implementation, large project execution, product management, account management, relationship management, sales, marketing, business development, consulting business, operations, and spearheading Regional Offices, Business Units, and Startups. As SVP & Head of Global Sales (India, US & MENA), he expanded the company’s footprints in Dubai to increase business from key accounts there. He played a key role in establishing the consulting business as one of the mainline businesses. Under his leadership, the team size and the customer base, grew by 60%, generating a larger revenue for the company. He has been a quality champion which resulted in performance exceeding Sales for 3 consecutive years FY2016-17 (125%), FY2017-18 (102%), and FY2018-19 (105%) in the last company he worked for. During his tenure, the company won many large deals and increased its customer base, improving average profit margins by 12%. This was due to a strong team he built by promoting customers and delivery-focused culture. Animesh kept learning as an integral part of his life and completed two short-term Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) at IIM Udaipur and IIM Tiruchirappalli, amongst many others. The key learnings included effective management of diverse teams and cost optimization across functions. He continues to refresh his career using the experience, expertise, and wisdom gained over the years. An approach of learning, unlearning, and relearning adopted throughout has helped him build customer-focused teams, optimize processes, planning, and strategy execution, process compliance & optimization, negotiations, follow-ups & deal closures, rapport building, payment realization, mentoring and developing potential leaders, time and team management, problem-solving and sensing customer needs, has empowered him to lead companies and deliver better and faster results. With experience in business operations and key insights on customer behavior built over time, he is confident of making a difference in the company he works for, by ensuring a win-win situation for its stakeholders. Currently, he is providing creative, innovative, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking leadership to the teams at FASTGlobal, CEO, BCCI Group USA, Board Member, and Chief Advisor, Samuchit LLC, San Diego. A passionate and enthusiastic professional with many awards to his credit, he continues to demonstrate quality and excellence in his personal, professional, and social life.
