**3 Year Journey of Becoming Self-taught Developer & Cracking a High Paying Job** Hi, I'm Amit Kumar Singh. I started my journey as a commerce student after finishing 12th grade. My family didn't have much money, and I didn't have anyone to guide me. So, I chose to study BBA at Ranchi University, the best option available after doing commerce. During college, I got curious about computers and learned programming and app development from YouTube. I stumbled upon an online competition called a hackathon and joined in. That's where I discovered web development with the help of some other participants. All this happened while I was in my second year of BBA. For the next two years, I worked hard to improve my web development skills. I did internships, freelancing, and contributed to open-source projects. Simultaneously, I pursued an MBA at Ranchi University. During that time, I created a social app called "Feelin," which gained attention on LinkedIn and led to job offers from global companies. I landed a high-paying job in my MBA's second year. This journey from a regular commerce student to a self-taught developer took about 3 years. The key lesson I learned is that in the tech world, practical experience matters more than degrees. So, if you're into tech, dive in, build things, assist others, and you'll succeed, no matter your degree!
