About me

I am the creator of “Womaning in India”, which began as a weekly newsletter that has been read over half a million times so far. The Womaning brand now also includes a gender sensitization training, a writing course, and a podcast. I have worked for 15 years in the development sector, with organizations like UNICEF, the World Bank, and Tata Trusts. I have also been a civil servant with the Indian Information Service and worked as part of the media team of the Prime Minister's Office during my time in this position. I am a Harvard-published author and have co-authored a book with the Prime Minister of India. By education, I am an Electronics and Communications Engineer from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra and an MBA from IIM Bangalore. I am also a neurodivergent working mother - the role I am proudest of. Happy to also talk about the challenges of balancing all these roles on our call. See you there!
