I'll start with the part most consultants leave out: sometimes the honest answer is don't go. I'm Darshan Shah — founder of D Vivid Consultant. I did my MBA in the USA, self-funded, coming from an ordinary academic record in India. Nobody sponsored that decision and nobody de-risked it for me. What I learned in that process became the only thing I actually teach: Marks don't decide futures. Decisions do.
